Tele-care uses network technology that relays physiological signals of the patient’s to medical personnel without the limitation of time and space. Hence, it may lighten medical personnel's burden and can monitor the patient all the time. Traditional PSTN can reach almost every family, therefore this research will monitor live sign and urgent dialogue system based on PSTN. This study designs portable physiological signal measuring instruments and live sign detectors, to observe chronically ill patients around the clock. The palpitation and the body temperature are very important for the live sign. The phygmomanometer can show the possible tumbling of the patients. In addition, the blood oxygen meter, and the blood sugar meter, can show the condition of the patients for medical personnel to make judgement if istance is needed. These signals will transmit via wireless to PSTN then p on to hospital control center immediately for ysis and storage.
