Can i get my burglary charge lowered? i live in maine...?

I thought that i was helping my "friend" get some stuff at his uncles house... we were in my company truck with the company tags on it and the # on it. now it was the middle of the day too right off the main rd... i thought that i was helping him out because i had the truck... turns up it was all stolen. now im being charged and have a "judicial conference" on oct. 29 for burglary. is there any way i can get it dropped or lowered? i dont deserve to go to jail, i thought i was helping out. PLZ HELP!!!!!
