First day of school outfit opinion?

It sounds like a lot going on- with the striped shoes and plaid shorts and glitter tank. I'm thinking that would be to much "pattern" for one outfit. I'd suggest the black on up sweater with the white lace cami underneath, plaid shorts and plain keds? or at least keds that don't have a pattern such as striped or polka dots, etc. Either that or wear the black on up sweater with both tanks, plain shorts (jean or just black or white shorts) and the keds.
