How can I be less intimidated by chavs/neds/juvenile delinquents at my school?

I had the same problem. I listened to eminem songs, and in them he was saying " I dont care what people think, i'll stand my ground, even if it means getting my *** beat". After i heard that, I just don't give a damn what people say to me, call me names and i smile and laugh at them. If they talk about you confront them. In the words of Ralph Waldo Emerson " Always do what you are afraid to do " Or just be nice to them. Give them compliments. No matter how mean they are, they have a conscience. TRUST ME
